body-sculpture

Sometimes you feel like you would do everything to get rid of local fat? You do not need to reach the edges. Science offers solutions applied to problematic areas of the body and promises relief from fat.

The body sculpture is the technique that removes fat from one or more local body parts. More specifically, a body has some elements that define the harmonic lines and symmetry, height, weight, open shoulders and hips, the curve of the breast and buttocks that give the key "lines" of a trunk. These 'lines' define the general picture of the human body. Many times, however, usually purely genetic or of subsequent causes, such as weight gain, personal habits, they create fat stores which occupy some parts of the body and destroy that image. So while a body looks uniform and acceptable, there is a small ugly "lipoma" which alters the whole harmony.

It can be found on the side of the thigh, the common bread in the middle, abdomen, back, and chin or inside the thighs and knees.

So there are people with the right amount and rate of weight and despite all efforts (with gym, massage or dieting) they cannot get rid of them.

In these cases, body sculpture can, and is able to give a definitive solution to the problem. The technique is being implemented by a nearly two decades and is considered microsurgical intervention and the outcome is successful, it suffices to be done by an experienced physician specialized in cosmetic surgery.

  • Anesthesia: Local – General
  • Hospital stay: few hours – 1 day
  • Recovery: Full recovery from the surgery in a couple of days, although special garments must be used for a period of three- four weeks. The pain is affordable with the usage of analgetics per os.

Blepharoplasty

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is perhaps the most demanding of all the cosmetic procedures. Aufricht once said, "Rhinoplasty is an easy operation to do but it's hard to get good results". This procedure should be planned in advance to obtain consistent and satisfactory results.

PRIMARY RHINOPLASTY

Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures performed today. It can reshape, reduce or augment a person's nose to achieve facial harmony and boost self-confidence. It may be performed as a reconstructive procedure to correct a birth defect or an injury such as a broken nose.

Rhinoplasty may be performed for functional rather than cosmetic reasons as well. Combining nose reshaping with septoplasty or endoscopic sinus surgery can effectively treat certain breathing problems, such as those caused by a deviated septum.

  • Anesthesia: General
  • Duration: 1 - 3 hours
  • Hospital stay: few hours to 1 night stay
  • Recovery: For a short time after surgery, patients may experience puffiness, nose ache or a dull headache, some swelling and bruising, bleeding or stuffiness. Most patients feel like themselves within two days and return to work in about a week.

The results of rhinoplasty become gradually apparent as the days pass after surgery and swelling recedes. Swelling may reappear from time to time in the first year after the procedure. It is typically more noticeable in the morning and fades during the day.

Contact lenses can be worn immediately, but glasses may need to be taped to your forehead or propped on your cheeks for up to seven weeks.

Patients with realistic goals for rhinoplasty are generally very happy with the new shape of their nose. The exact results depend on the patient's nasal bone and cartilage structure, facial shape, skin thickness and age.

    The results are permanent
    .
  • Risks: Complications are rare and, when they occur, minor. These may include infection, nosebleed, or a reaction to the anesthesia.

Tip *trust an experienced and specialized doctor*

Chin surgery

Many patients who are seen for rhinoplasty are not aware of the relationship between their nose and chin. In many instances it is the surgeon who has to point out this relationship. Chin augmentation is generally indicated in 10% - 50% of rhinoplasties.

  • Anesthesia: General
  • Duration: 1 - 2 hours
  • Hospital stay: 1 day
  • Recovery: In most of the cases analgesics are recommended. There is swelling and bruising that may be spread over the entire face, but are immediately eliminated. Patient can return to his normal activities in a couple of days.
  • Risks: No need for long hospital stay. Infection, hematoma, asymmetry, extrusion, overcorrection or under correction are the most common complications.

Tip *combine this surgery with rhinoplasty*

Aesthetic Otoplasty

Modern otoplasty began with Luckett, who was the first to acknowledge that the deformity was often the result of the absence of a well-formed antihelix rather than simply an excessive angle between the concha and mastoid. He proposed creating the antihelical fold by making a curvilinear cartilage incision at the antithelical line and suturing the scaphal and conchal carilages back to back.

  • Anesthesia: Local
  • Duration: 1 - 1.5 hours
  • Hospital stay: couple of hours
  • Recovery: The dressing is removed after the day after the surgery and replaced with a new one which is worn for four more days. In adults and older children the second dressing may not be needed. Following the removal of all dressings, a headband is worn continuously for 2 weeks, and then for another 2 weeks only at night. Children should be encourage not to engage in rough play for 6 weeks. Pain is well tolerated with normal analgesics.
  • Risks: Early complications: bleeding infections and necrosis.

Special garments help the swelling to disappear and must be wear for couple of weeks. Stitches are removed in 14 days after the surgery. The pain is very low and it disappears with analgesics.
